What we collect

At this stage, Factornix collects only what you give us directly:

Factornix does not yet offer account creation, paid subscriptions, or broker connectivity through this site. When those features launch, this policy will be updated in advance to describe the additional information involved (such as billing details handled by our payment processor, and, for users who choose to connect a brokerage account, the account metadata needed to display holdings and rebalance status).

How we use your information

We use your email address only to send the updates you signed up for -- general platform/newsletter content, or, if you joined a strategy's launch list, updates about that strategy. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Newsletter and subscription data

For the general newsletter, we use a confirmed opt-in (double opt-in) process: after you sign up, we send a confirmation link, and your address is only added to the active list once you confirm it. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe or mark a message as spam, we record that and will not email you again on that channel unless you sign up afresh.

Joining a strategy's launch list is a simpler, single-step signal of interest -- we record the email address you provide, without a separate confirmation step. If you'd like to be removed from a launch list, contact us (see below) and we'll remove it manually; an automated confirmation and unsubscribe flow for launch lists, matching the newsletter's, is planned but not built yet.

Broker-connection data

Broker connectivity (via Alpaca, and in the future other brokers) is planned but not yet available through this site. When it launches, this section will describe what account data is accessed, how it's used to display your holdings and rebalance status, and how any stored credentials are protected.

Third-party service providers

We use third-party service providers to operate Factornix, including payment processing (Paystack) once billing is available, brokerage connectivity (Alpaca) once broker connections are available, and infrastructure providers for hosting and email delivery. Each provider only receives the information necessary to perform its function.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, this section will be updated to describe what's collected and how to opt out.

Data retention and deletion

We retain newsletter and launch-list email addresses until you unsubscribe or request deletion. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see below); we will remove it except where we're required to retain records for legal or accounting purposes.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent to marketing email at any time -- via the unsubscribe link for the general newsletter, or by contacting us directly for a strategy launch list.
