What Factornix is

Factornix (Cityhyper Group Ltd) publishes systematic investment research: backtested and paper-traded strategy performance, model-portfolio updates, target weights, and commentary. Factornix is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or licensed financial adviser, and nothing published here is a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or personalized investment advice. You are solely responsible for any investment decisions you make.

Research, not brokerage or advice

The content on this site -- strategy descriptions, methodology summaries, performance charts, and model-portfolio updates -- is research and commentary, provided for informational purposes only. It is not brokerage services, custody, execution, or investment advisory services. Where Factornix in the future offers optional broker connectivity, that connectivity operates through a third-party, licensed brokerage (currently planned: Alpaca) under that broker's own account agreement and regulatory framework -- Factornix does not hold, custody, or have discretionary authority over your funds or securities.

Performance disclosures

• Backtested results are simulated. They are calculated with the benefit of hindsight, do not reflect actual trades, and have inherent limitations -- including that they cannot account for the impact certain market or economic factors may have had on actual decision-making. Backtested performance does not represent real trading and should not be relied upon as an indicator of future results.
• Paper-traded results reflect a broker's simulated (paper) account, not real capital, and may differ from what a live account would have experienced due to execution timing, slippage, and other factors.
• Live-traded results, where shown, reflect real broker activity but are not a guarantee of future performance. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal.
• Backtested, paper-traded, and live-traded results are always clearly labeled and never presented as equivalent.

Newsletter and strategy updates

Subscribing to the general newsletter or a strategy's launch list is free and gives you research commentary and update emails. It is not, by itself, an investment advisory relationship, a brokerage account, or a paid subscription. Paid model-update subscriptions and broker-connected functionality are planned but not yet available.

Third-party services

Factornix uses third-party providers to operate the platform, including payment processing (Paystack, once billing launches) and brokerage connectivity (Alpaca, once available). Your use of those services is also subject to that provider's own terms.

No warranty; limitation of liability

This site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Factornix and Cityhyper Group Ltd are not liable for any losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Factornix's functionality evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
